In december 2008 the Province of Florence, one of the most careful italian provincial entities towards its relationship with citizens, contacted Connexia once again after the successful project www.florence.tv, to reorganize its online contents, fragmented on more web sites. www.provincia.firenze.it website was created, a unique mean for the communication of projects, services and ideas of the Florence Province for a better understanding  of the territorial requirements. The new website grants access to simple and immediate information, with territorial link to Google Transit, a calendar containing "deadlines" and "events" and other innovative elements which make it a simple and practical  instrument capable of immediately recalling the florentine and its territory identity.
For this creation, Connexia followed accurately the access standards required by the Stanca Law and its 22 regulations, which encourages and promotes the use of informatic instruments by disabled people. Thanks to this adjustment, the Florence Province obtained the CNIPA  (National Centre for informatics in the Public Administration) certification.
