Unibet is an on-line betting company, founded in 1997 and listed in the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Unibet is one of the biggest private operators in the european betting market, offering services in 20 languages with the help of local websites, among which, since march 2008, the www.unibet.it website, dedicated to the italian market as the Big Competitor of important realities in this sector.
A market filled with competitors in which brand awareness and innovative choices are fundamental aspects to become leaders. With this ambition, in May 2007, Unibet has asked Connexia to take care of its PR and press office activities.

Since the beginning, Connexia found itself handling a complex situation: the communication of Unibet's desire, unique sponsor of a bicycle team excluded from the Italian tour, started a recourse in legal proceeding against the organizers of the race. The communication strategy organized by Connexia is of great impact and the press release written for the occasion obtains great response from the media. After this episode Connexia worked together with Unibet in creating and circulating attractive and original bets to promote the popularity of this anglo-swedish provider in Italy and increase the number of visitors of unibet.it website.

Connexia also worked as strategic consultant in the sponsorizations for Unibet: two examples, on the sports poker tournament "Poker night" which took place in the Casinò of Venice and later shown on SKY tv and the partnership between Unibet and the Verdesport Group, group which coordinates and promotes the activities of Benetton Basketball, Sisley Volleyball and Benetton Rugby. Thanks to this agreement, the white-green Unibet logo will be inserted in the rotor circuit at Monigo stadium, home of the Benetton Rugby. It will also be worn by the Benetton basket players on the sleeve of the official over shirt.
Connexia created and realized a 10 and 30 second spot that, since March 2008, appears in italian television channels on both traditional and satellite platform.
