Whether it’s an apartment for a night, a castle for a week, or a villa for a month, Airbnb connects people to unique travel experiences, at any price point, in more than 19,000 cities and 192 countries with an innovative idea that opens the doors to collaborative consumption and the sharing economy.
The idea for the concept began in a San Francisco living room when three guys heard that all the hotels were booked during an industrial design conference and decided to offer a couple of airbeds, a tasty breakfast, and a splash of local hospitality from their apartment… and Air Bed and Breakfast was launched, a global business that has revolutionised how we travel!
Connexia has worked with this rapidly expanding business on its launch in Italy and the opening of its first office in Milan. The launch press conference in Milan last February attracted journalists from all the leading publications, such as Corriere Economia, Il Venerdì di Repubblica, Style (Il Giornale), D di Repubblica, Sette, Casamica, Casa Vogue and Radio 24.
Over the months, Connexia has taken action to maximise the media visibility of Airbnb and the portal’s latest offerings by working closely with the media.
