Connexia secures the digital contract to promote tourism in Friuli Venezia Giulia worldwide

After examining twenty-two strategic proposals, the regional authority tasked with developing tourism in Friuli Venezia Giulia has selected the temporary group formed by Connexia and Insiel Mercato to promote tourism in the region on a national and international level on the web and social media.
Connexia, Italy’s premier communication agency for internet PR, social media marketing, and web and media relations, and Insiel Mercato, which specialises in creating innovative technological solutions for the public administration and healthcare sectors, presented an innovative strategic plan and were awarded this important contract thanks also to their wealth of experience in online communications for tourism and institutional concerns.

Connexia and Insiel Mercato have already begun working with Friuli Venezia Giulia. Initially they are focused on listening to and mapping the network so they can monitor attitudes and identify the key Italian and international influencers. Next they will implement customised actions for engaging these targets through social media and an innovative technological enterprise social networking solution, which will provide a centralised platform for producing and delivering editorial content that will in turn be channelled through specific RSS feeds and widgets in the relevant media, and ensure that everyone is aligned “on the same page”.

The initiatives to promote tourism in the region will be developed nationally and internationally with a special focus on Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Holland, Russia and Spain. Connexia and Insiel Mercato will customise communications strategies to suit each country and work with local social media specialists to form a multicultural team.
