Élevée, the luxury “Made in America” brand that creates bespoke menswear, has tasked Connexia, the digital experience agency which is part of the Doxa Group and one of the top multichannel players, with designing and developing a web application to revamp and simplify the steps of its production chain.
Élevée is the leading brand of tailor-made clothing with a 24-hour turnaround service that has been combining thousands of fabrics and yarns sourced from the finest British and Italian mills with the efficiency of American production models to dress high-profile executives, professional athletes and celebrities for over a decade. The American bespoke tailor has now chosen an all-Italian partner to help redesign its production cycle.
The Connexia web application will enable the sales team and workers in Élevée’s factories to fully automate the production process: taking the measurements for each garment, entering the orders and sending them to the production lines will guarantee complete and prompt control of every aspect of production from customer management, product inventory and pricing to the availability of materials in the warehouse.
“For a company like ours that continues to grow and expand, it is absolutely essential that we have tools that can evolve and perform at the same rate,” said Mike O’Brien, the CEO of Élevée Custom Clothing, “Knowing that this is a very specific goal, we decided to work with Connexia. The agency has immense experience in designing customisable software applications and provides solid support for the business of its client brands so appointing Connexia was the natural choice.”
“Connexia works with major world-famous brands which proves they have what it takes to tackle and manage any type of project, no matter how big or complex it may be.”
“Élevée is an extraordinary brand; it gives its customers the perfect mix of creativity, comfort, style and quality with a 24-hour turnaround service,” said Paolo d’Ammassa, the CEO of Connexia, “Providing technological solutions for a company with such an innovative marketing strategy and such high standards of workmanship is a truly fascinating opportunity for Connexia.
We have divided the project into multiple phases. An initial technical and functional analysis will enable us to formalise the business’ primary requirements. This is followed by tracking the functional processes of the software currently in use, identifying and suggesting alternative solutions for any weak points or areas with room for improvement, and describing the data model needed to manage all incoming and outgoing information (products, measurements, customers, orders, prices, available stock, etc.). The second phase is all about design and development: designing the general architecture of the software components, external services and pertinent communications (API, integrations, protocols), designing the application architecture and the processing flows. Last but not least, we design the user interface. This project will be as well organised as it is challenging.”
