The Italian Ice Sports Federation (FISG) has tasked Connexia, the Doxa Group’s data-driven marketing and communication agency and one of the top multichannel communication players, with managing the worldwide communications for the ISU World Figure Skating Championships Milano 2018 and promoting this international event in Milan featuring the world’s top figure skaters from 21 to 25 March 2018.
Connexia has many years of experience and expertise in the sports world, with clients such as the NBA, Eurosport, FIFA and UEFA, so is well placed to define the content strategy, manage the English editorial plan on the Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter social channels, and simultaneously plan multi-stakeholder social advertising campaigns to promote the event. The world-class arena for the championships is Mediolanum Forum in Assago, one of Europe’s top sports venues.
Connexia has also been asked to coordinate and manage all PR and press office activities for the 108th edition of the ISU World Figure Skating Championships in 2018. There will be a special focus on lifestyle magazines and a challenge has been issued to reach and engage an ever-wider audience that ventures beyond the usual target of ice-skating fans.
The event’s official website – milano2018.com – is already up and running. The entire website has been created and developed in four languages (Italian, English, Russian and Japanese) by the Milanese agency and can be accessed on all mobile devices.
Connexia will also provide the Italian Ice Sports Federation and the FISG partners working as part of the adventure that is the 2018 World Figure Skating Championships with a creative consulting service and assistance when developing and implementing every phase of the actions in the area and the stunt activities.
