Integrated multimedia communication strategy

Connexia has been providing an integrated communication strategy for the Alta Pusteria Tourist Board since 2009. The strategy includes press office activities, traditional media relations and digital PR, as well as consulting services to help with building a coherent brand presence on Facebook and Pinterest channels.

The aim is to promote and enhance the value of the tourism offering in the five towns situated in the heart of the Dolomites and UNESCO World Heritage site: Sesto, San Candido, Dobbiaco, Villabassa and Braies.

The extraordinary panoramic landscapes of Alta Pusteria are well known to the Italian public as they are the “star” of the popular “Un passo dal cielo” TV series that is broadcast on RAI 1, and are often chosen as the natural backdrop for fashion shoots and published in top-flight national fashion and lifestyle magazines.

Over the past six years we have organised sixteen private and group press trips that have been enthusiastically attended by journalists and influencers and increased the coverage of the Alta Pusteria Tourist Board by 250%, mainly in offline lifestyle and tourism media.

The ongoing community management activities on the Board’s Facebook fanpage, combined with ad hoc projects, have led to the fanbase increasing to over 44,000 organic fans and created an excellent level of interaction and a positive sentiment.
